Because gluttony is a deadly sin, though alchol in moderation is a good thing.

Personally, I cant stand the taste though, its like drinking disinfectant.

It all tastes like shit except wine and beer. Every liquor I've had tastes like pure ass and I've drank just about everything possible from every country you can think of, from high dollar to piss cheap. Whisky in particular tastes like vomit. God forgive me for dishonoring my scottish heritage with this statement, but I fucking loathe whisky.

A good wine seems the best if you can sort through all the options and find good varieties. I would say a really good wine is better than a good beer or a good liquor.

Try anise based liquors, and make sure they're not above 18% vol

Natural liquor is usually low in alc and anise is great for digestion and a mild parasite cleanser.
