So I shouldn't have taken out that $30,000 loan for the seadoo water jet ski that I only ride one month of the year?

I don't see why not. As long as it's below 30% interest, and only instantly depreciates 25%. And you still have enough money to afford to put only 2/3rd of your monthly rent on the credit card and pay the minimum payments.
