I was fucking broke at the time, but begged my family and friends who had some change to play with to buy some. Only one did. It was only a thousand, but he’s till has it.
I had a chance at 4k but everyone said it was a scam. If I had it'd be worth half a million now. Well everyone gets in at the price of them finally getting it. (understanding).
i kick myself thinking about it now. I worked in the computer retail industry in the early days of crypto. $500 and, like you, thought it was a huge scam... i mean i still think it is but yeah life could have been different. oh well same with AMD and Nvidia stock

It most definitely is a scam, but so is everything else mOOdern day. The thing is you’re either in on the scam early enough to reap, or you get raped. You either reap or you get raped, and as someone once said, “somebody’s doing the raping”. 😁
Bitcoin, the first ever crypto coin, is not a scam in the normal sense of the word, no one created it with the intent of rug-pulling the investors. Anyone who's ever truly read its code and understood it normally backs away from that common myth.
Lol thats nothing I knew of it back in 2013 but most people don't realize how hard it was to actually acquire it in the early days.. You could only get it through sketchy sites.
